| Her Honour the Honourable
Myra A. Freeman Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia and His
Honour Lawrence A. Freeman present a plaque to Shirley
Osborne, President of the Bridgewater Curling Club at the
opening ceremonies Thursday evening. |
The 2005 Labatt Tankard will be
hosted by the Bridgewater Curling Club from February 4th to 8th.
The event features a 16-Team Triple
Knockout event with all teams placed in the draw according to their
seeding points. The teams that make up this field have
advanced; 7 each from
Northern
Nova Scotia and
Southern Nova Scotia zone play offs and 2 from a
Challenge Round. The winner advances to the Canadian
Men's Curling Championship, The Brier in Edmonton.

At 7:30 Sunday evening we will
be hosting a Super Bowl Party open to members, players, guests and
sponsors.
